Businesses are overloaded with the sheer volume of data, churned out daily by operational/ transactional systems, web logs, industrial sensors, customer data, social media information etc. The information from these data is critical to businesses and future businesses decisions as it can uncover hidden patterns, unknown correlations and other useful information.
