To review and compare key planning metrics for the current year and the previous year for retailer weekly planning meetings. The data in different spreadsheets and tables were not generating easy to understand overview of how all divisions and departments were performing.
Our team developed multi-perspective view from datasets with rich visuals in Power BI to enable quick insights and easy drill downs. The different metrics include sales revenue, regular vs. markdown contribution to revenue, average unit retail price, units available, and in-store vs. online revenue.
The overall summary and drill downs within divisions and channels allow viewing individual contributions, and performances in the current year and the previous year.
